I've got two TwinHan DTV Alpha devices at home. They work with a
standard kernel (and have done for years -- I'm currently on 2.6.24),
using the dvb_usb_vp7045 driver. I don't have an EEE, but it shouldn't
be hard to check whether it's got that driver.
Not sure what you'd use on the userspace side to make things easy
to use, but the kernel side works perfectly.
